Getting Involved Through School Clubs at Twin Peaks K-8

At Twin Peaks K-8 School, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Our student clubs and leadership opportunities provide students with meaningful ways to develop new skills, build friendships, serve others, and contribute to our positive school culture. Whether students are leading their peers, serving the community, or sharing their musical talents, our clubs help them grow as confident and engaged members of our school community.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)

The National Junior Honor Society recognizes outstanding middle school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Membership in NJHS is both an honor and a responsibility. Students participate in service projects that benefit our school and community while developing leadership skills that prepare them for future success. Through NJHS, students learn the value of giving back and making a positive impact on the world around them.

Safety Patrol

Our Safety Patrol members play an important role in helping our school operate safely and smoothly each day. These student leaders provide peer support during arrival and dismissal, helping students navigate campus and promoting safe practices. Safety Patrol members serve as positive role models who demonstrate responsibility, leadership, and respect while helping create a welcoming environment for all students.

PBnJ Recess Game Leaders (Peers Bringing Joy)

The PBnJ Recess Game Leaders program empowers students to create fun, inclusive playground experiences for their peers. PBnJ leaders organize and lead games during recess, encourage participation, and help ensure that every student feels included. Through this leadership opportunity, students develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while fostering a positive and engaging playground environment.

Cool Cub Chorus

Students who love music and performing can share their talents through Cool Cub Chorus. This choir club provides students with opportunities to develop their vocal skills, learn a variety of songs, and perform for school and community events throughout the year. In addition to building musical abilities, members gain confidence, teamwork skills, and the joy of creating music together.

Building Leaders, Learners, and Community Members

Our clubs and student leadership opportunities are an important part of the Twin Peaks experience. They allow students to explore their interests, develop valuable life skills, and contribute to a school culture built on respect, responsibility, and belonging. We encourage all eligible students to get involved and discover the many ways they can make a difference at Twin Peaks K-8 School.
