Twin Peaks K–8 School Earns PBISAz Achievement Award

Twin Peaks K–8 School is proud to announce that we have been honored with a PBISAz Achievement Award, a recognition that celebrates our commitment to building a positive, supportive, and inclusive school environment. This award highlights the strong, schoolwide implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) and the collaborative efforts that contribute to a thriving school culture.

Our dedicated PBIS team has worked tirelessly to ensure that students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed every day. Through consistent expectations, positive reinforcement, and a focus on student well-being, Twin Peaks continues to foster a climate where all learners can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

On November 12, Associate Principal Nikki Simpson and Teacher Christine McCarthy proudly represented Twin Peaks at the PBISAz Achievement Awards Ceremony, held at the Pendergast Early Learning Center in Phoenix. They accepted the award on behalf of our entire school community—students, staff, and families—who contribute to making Twin Peaks a model of PBIS excellence.

We are PAWSitively Proud of this accomplishment and extend our gratitude to everyone who has played a role in supporting our PBIS initiatives. Together, we will continue to build a school where positive behavior, respect, and kindness shine every day!
