Spelling Bee Winners

Twin Peaks participates in the Scripps National Spelling Bee each year. Students in grades four through eight took a written spelling test, and the best spellers from each class were selected to participate in our school spelling bee in December. Congratulations to our spelling bee winners: First Place - Pyper Swegle, Second Place - Alyssa Dean, Third Place - Ariana Valencia, and Alternate - Mara Echeverri Dinu. These students will participate in the district bee on January 15, 2025 at 6:00pm at Marana Middle School. Good luck to all! Thank you to our counselors Lorelei Barrett and Jennifer Marries for coordinating the bee. Associate Principal Gary Landis serves as the pronouncer. Our judges were Noah Rohr, Tad Bertrand, and Bethany Dizon.
