Twin Peaks K-8 Breaks Ground on New Gymnasium!

Twin Peaks K-8 celebrated an exciting milestone this week, celebrating the official groundbreaking of the school’s new gymnasium. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 16, and marked the beginning of a project that will transform the campus and provide expanded opportunities for student activities, athletics, and school-wide gatherings.
Scheduled for completion in November 2026, the new gym will serve as a central hub for athletics, physical education, performances, and community events. The facility will accommodate up to 500 spectators, making it an ideal space for large assemblies and school-wide activities. Key features include:
- A full basketball court
- Two volleyball courts
- A dedicated stage for performances and presentations
- A welcoming lobby area with concession stand
- Expanded storage for physical education, athletics, and school equipment
Designed by SPS+ Architects and built by Chasse Building Team, the gym represents a significant investment in student wellness, engagement, and achievement. The project was made possible thanks to the community’s support of the 2022 school improvement bond, reflecting a shared commitment to enriching learning environments across the district.
