Teachers walking into MHS auditorium for PD Day

Senior staff - including Superintendent Dr. Dan Streeter, Assistant Superintendents Kristin Reidy, Mark Goligoski, Denise Linsalata, CFO Thomas Bogart, Executive Director Joshua Bayne and Governing Board Vice President Kathryn Mikronis welcomed back all of MUSD’s extraordinary teachers yesterday during a spirited Professional Development (PD) day!

MUSD educators kicked off the school year with engaging and motivational professional development during the first of several PD days this year. School mascots greeted and cheered on staff members, welcoming everyone back from summer. Mountain View and Marana High School band students gave a great welcome back performance. Prizes were awarded during a welcome-back raffle, where 12 (incredibly lucky) winning teachers received a 2-hour certificate for “substitute” classroom coverage from one of our immensely experienced educated Senior Staff members!

It was an exhilarating start to the school year and we can’t wait to share this enthusiasm with our students when they return to our hallways next week!

Thank you to our staff, students, administrators and mascots for helping make this an inspirational PD day, and thanks to Mountain View High School and Marana High School for being great hosts.
