The Twin Peaks PTF made this school year truly special by creating memorable experiences for students, families, and staff. Through their dedication, creativity, and countless volunteer hours, the PTF helped strengthen the sense of community that makes Twin Peaks such a wonderful place to learn and grow. Their efforts brought families together, celebrated our students, and provided meaningful support for our teachers and staff throughout the year.

Twin Peaks K-8 students have much to celebrate! Throughout the school year, students demonstrated our school-wide expectations of being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn, earning an incredible 12,561 Positive Paws and 317 Pawsitive Office Referrals. These accomplishments reflect the commitment of our students to making positive choices each day and contributing to a welcoming, supportive learning environment.

Our annual Twin Peaks Science Fair was held in February and showcased the creativity, curiosity, and scientific thinking of students in grades 5–8. Participants designed and conducted science and engineering projects that demonstrated their problem-solving skills, innovation, and commitment to learning. We are proud of all of the students who participated and shared their hard work with judges, classmates, and the school community. Congratulations to our award winners

Twin Peaks K-8 students in grades 4–8 showcased their hard work, determination, and love of learning through participation in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The Twin Peaks School Spelling Bee took place on December 2 and featured an impressive group of talented spellers. After several competitive rounds, Andy Zhao earned the title of Twin Peaks Spelling Bee Champion. Alyssa Dean placed second, Lily Bonomi earned third place, and David Liss was named the alternate.

In the 25-26 school year, Marana Unified School District celebrated its centennial - 100 years of teaching and learning in Marana Schools. The district dug into its history and discovered how we grew from a handful of board and canvas classrooms to a thriving school district that proudly partners with our families and the greater Marana community.

Summer reading is a great way for students to maintain and strengthen their literacy skills while school is out of session. Several free summer reading programs are available for children ages 5 and up in Tucson and online, offering incentives, activities, and opportunities to explore new books. Learn how to take advantage of these opportunities and make reading part of your child's summer routine.
