Volunteer Opportunities
We value and appreciate parent involvement at Twin Peaks K-8! Students benefit when the school works in partnership with the family. If you are interested in becoming a Twin Peaks Volunteer, we would love your help in one of the following areas.
- Parents, Teachers and Friends (PTF)
- Watch D.O.G.S.
- Classroom Volunteer
- Library Helper
- Field Trips
- Class Parties
PTF (Parents, Teachers and Friends)
PTF is an amazing group of volunteers who plan a wide variety of family events for our school. In order, to provide this service, we need many parents to participate. We would like to have one representative from every homeroom class to attend our monthly meetings which are always open to all parents. Our PTF president is Leslie Fawer, and we meet once a month on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. for about an hour. Please join us!
Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students)
The Watch DOGS program is designed to increase the presence of male role models on campus by having each dad volunteer at school one day per year either during the school day or at one of our events. Interested dads may contact our Associate Principal, Gary Landis. Dads are making a difference at Twin Peaks!
Classroom Volunteers
Contact your child’s teacher to schedule a time to volunteer in the classroom. Teachers welcome regular classroom volunteers. Our students benefit from the extra adult attention.
