Parent, Teacher, and Friends (PTF)

Penny War Volunteers in Camo

A Parent Teacher Organization is a way for you, as a parent, to be actively involved in the success of the school. Twin Peaks K-8 believes that parent involvement is necessary for students to achieve academic and personal excellence in a rigorous, relevant and supportive learning environment.

Thank you for your willingness to spend extra time and effort on behalf of the students in the Marana Unified School District. Our schools welcome your involvement!

Mission

The Twin Peaks K-8 PTF is dedicated to promoting the social, emotional, and educational enrichment of children at home, in school, and within the community. We are joint partners, as parents/guardians and staff, in educational excellence. We as the Twin Peaks PTF are supportive of our school motto: We are pawsitively proud of our Tigers and Tiger Cubs for taking education by the tail!

Objectives

The goals of the PTF are:

  • Support excellence in the education of children at Twin Peaks K-8
  • Stimulate parent participation in the school community
  • Enhance communication among parents, faculty, and administration
  • Encourage teachers by providing parent support in the classroom
  • Provide financial assistance for special projects as PTF funds allow
  • Volunteer time and talents for events and fundraising activities
  • Provide an avenue for parents to meet with other parents in the community

President's Welcome

As parents, teachers, and administrators, we all share a common goal: to ensure the success and well-being of our children. Through the PTF, we have a unique opportunity to work together, pooling our strengths, ideas, and resources to create enriching experiences and opportunities for every student.

Twin Peaks K-8 is truly a special place. We have an amazing community of students, parents, teachers and staff. Contributing to the Twin Peaks PTF only enhances and strengthens this relationship. Thank you for helping to make every student’s potential a reality.

Let’s have a great year!

Twin Peaks PTF is a 501(c)(3) organization with elected board members.

Join us for our next Parent, Teacher, and Friends (PTF) Meeting on Monday, April 20 at 6:00 PM in the library.

Spring is in full swing, and we’re excited to come together to celebrate the success of our school carnival and reflect on all the fun and hard work that made it possible. We’ll also look ahead to end-of-year activities and how we can continue supporting our students and staff.

Your ideas, feedback, and energy are always appreciated—whether you helped with the carnival or are just jumping in now, you’re an important part of our team. Let’s wrap up a great event and plan for a strong finish to the year.
