Play and Learn (PAL)

Registration begins in January and parents are encouraged to register early. Registration is best completed on a laptop/desktop, and not your phone. Parents of students five (5) years of age prior to September 1 of the current school year can register new students online.  

• FAMILIES NEW TO MUSD:  Follow the steps below for "Families Never Enrolled in MUSD." Families will need to create a new ParentVUE account.
• RETURNING MUSD FAMILIES: Parents with children previously or currently enrolled in MUSD need to use your existing ParentVUE account login. Login to ParentVUE.

Follow these steps for families who have never had a child enrolled in MUSD or any Marana school. 

WATCH instructions from the New Parent/Student Registration video OR follow these steps:

1. Registration is best completed on a laptop/desktop, and not your phone.
2. Click to access NEW student registration. If you are a parent with former or current students at MUSD, you can access your ParentVUE account from this page by inputting your User Name and Password.
3. Select the link to “Create New Account” and follow the prompts. Complete all fields, and it is critical that you populate the email address with a valid email. 
4. Check your email to complete the setup of your ParentVUE account. Click the link in the email, which will allow you to create your password and then sign in to your ParentVUE account. Your User ID will be the email address you specified.
5. Verify and/or select the school year for which you want to register your student. Click on "Begin New Registration."
6. Once you have completed the registration for your student, you can upload necessary documents or deliver a hard copy to the school. These documents are required to complete the registration process.
7. Review your registration by clicking the Review button next to an item to make any necessary changes. Submit your information. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration.

Required Forms
As part of the registration process, be prepared to upload necessary documents or indicate that you will deliver a hard copy to the school. Additional forms may be required as part of the registration process.

1. Immunization records.  You must have current proof of immunizations before your student can register. (Arizona State Law) Immunization Information
2. Birth Certificate: original or certified copy of birth certificate.
3. Two proofs of residency Examples include mortgage, lease, or any utility bill that proves residency at that address.
4. Copy of report card or current grades if applicable.
5. Official notice of withdrawal. If you are coming from a school in Arizona, you must officially withdraw from that school and obtain a withdrawal notice before enrolling at your new school.

Individualized Education Program (IEP)
If your student is currently enrolled in any Special Education Program you must have a current IEP. Contact the desired school of attendance before any schedule can be created.

Suspension or Expulsion
If your student is under suspension or expulsion from another school, contact the desired school of attendance before any schedule can be created.

If you are registering an additional student to MUSD, login to ParentVue/StudentVue with your existing ParentVUE/StudentVUE login information. If you need your activation key, contact your student’s school. Registration is best completed on a laptop/desktop, and not your phone. 

Open enrollment begins in December of the prior school year and applications are approved on an ongoing basis. While most schools in the District will have space for open enrollment students, some grade levels or campuses will have closed enrollment because of growing student populations. Follow instructions on the Open Enrollment page to apply for Open Enrollment, and see current enrollment capacity by school.
