Pollinator Garden
Thank you to Owen McAdams and Troop 219 for installing a pollinator garden for Twin Peaks K-8 in April 2022. Owen designed the garden and installed it with the help of Boy Scout Troop 219 for his Eagle Scout Project.
Pollinator gardens, which are great educational tools, introduce the basics of gardening and food systems to students. They provide clear, real-life examples of the interdependent nature of our food ecosystem, and the valuable services that pollinators – yes, even insects – provide to society.
This wonderful garden, created by dedicated members of our community, will bring enjoyment and learning to students for years to come!
Twin Peaks, how does your garden grow?
With love and care and little children everywhere!Martha Bishop
